I don't know why it has taken me so long to write this. I love you Grampa, I miss you. I really miss our talks and football season will not be the same without you to call. I'm glad you were able to meet and know Jordan and her you. She will grow up knowing what an amazing Man you are! Until we meet again.....XOXO

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I don't know if you remember us or not. Charlie and I worked together at the mine and we shared a carpool once with a couple of other guys down the street, Don Masterman, Ron Hardenbrook and Ron Starkey. I lived by Don Masterman, who recently passed away. It's been a long time. We have lived in Centralia for the past 11 years. Charlie was a good person and we got along great.
Please accept our sincere sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you.

Oh "cowpie" how much I will miss you. My only regret is not spending enough time with such an important man in my life. Your presence will be sorely missed in our family. Your laughter at memories of the good times, Your presence at family gatherings, even your scoldings when I did wrong. Those tears we cry are not for you but for us. I know you were ready to go home and hear "well done good and faithful one" and I look forward to seeing your when my card is called upon to leave this world behind. It was hard to lose the only grandpa I had left, but I am so thankful that when I entered this world you were apart of my family. The memories I have of you will never die, but be passed along. I love you and I will never say good-bye, but I will say See you later!!
