Your impression of the quality and value of our services is very important to us. We respectfully ask for your assistance in evaluating the services we provided, as this will enable us to provide the best possible care to others who turn to us in their time of need.

Staff in the Lacey office is nothing short of amazing and her genuine compassion just shined through every step of the way. From the initial visit when Tina never made us feel guilty/bad for only being able to provide the basics for my father’s cremation and service (unlike another well-known home we had visited prior to finding Funeral Alternatives), through the changes and finalization of his arrangements, even right down to the day of his service when she came out into the parking lot and gave me a hug! Her compassion never faded. I am so thankful we found such a wonderful, compassionate, and knowledgeable group of people to help us through one of our most difficult times.

We had a non-traditional celebration of life with over 500 in attendance. It was crowded but it worked exactly like we needed. We worked with Clair and two of their funeral directors. All of them were top notch. One of them, Trent, quietly helped me from the side lines and made a very difficult moment a little easier.

Good morning, I’d just like to thank you for being so helpful and kind while arranging everything for Pat… Unlike many funeral homes, where there is pressure and guilt to spend money on your loved ones, you made us feel so comfortable and made the process so simple and easy and we truly appreciated that. Bless you.

Dear Andrew, Yesterday was truly a highlight for me and my family. The way Mom’s memorial service came off was fantastic. Your leadership on the arrangements and the referral to Father Mike made all the difference. Everything was perfect, including the weather. I can’t imagine that Mom could have gotten a more complete and heartfelt send off. You are a real pro and you have a terrific attitude for working with the bereaved. Thanks from the entire family.

Dear Mr. Ferris, I wish to express my gratitude for the way you and your staff at Funeral Alternatives helped me and my family at this difficult time. I am glad I made the decision to choose Funeral Alternatives. I have had to make these arrangements before for parents and children and unfortunately those experiences were very difficult. These occasions were unpleasant and stressful. Therefore Clair, I appreciated the sensitive and helpful service I received at Funeral Alternatives. I especially want to thank you, Barbara, Jack and Andrew for seeing that Gary’s Celebration of Life was as I had envisioned. I will recommend Funeral Alternatives to others. Sincerely,

Clair – I wanted to thank you for the service you provided my family last week that combined the highest levels of compassion and integrity. Harvey’s death was sudden and painful, yet his spirit continues impact lives in remarkable ways. Despite the unusual and last minute nature of some of our requests, you responded generously with your time and enabled us to authentically celebrate Harvey’s life. We are deeply grateful. I hope experiences like this affirm the extraordinary importance of your work and perhaps allow you to see it as a calling. With gratitude

Carrie: Roman and I want to thank you for all of your help planning R’s service. We so appreciate all you did to help us through this very difficult time. Thanks again,

Thank you for all the help. Laughing during such a time was absolutely odd for me, but a release I so needed. Glad you were a part of it and I had a companion who understood. I can never express my appreciation for your kindness, thoughtfulness and encouragement in helping me. Thank you, Thank you.

We would very much like to thank Jack McIntryre for his guidance & comfort extended to the family of Leonard & Peggy Deuel. The ceremony at the Tahoma National Cemetery is one we will cherish.

Andrew, Just a note to thank you for the gentleness and care you showed our mother/wife. It is comforting to know that her transport was completed with such compassion. Thank you, Bob & Gretchen Family of

The help you gave Jeff in making the memorial was greatly appreciated and it turned out very nice. The DVD’s you gave to the family will be cherished by the family. Thank you so much. Clair, Thank you doesn't even begin to express my deepest gratitude for you. You have been our pillar of strength through this entire experience. I wasn't sure I could handle Mom's passing and I certainly have extremely tough days. Looking back through the past month you have helped me more than you know! I know I wanted to help dress her, didn't think I would but with you and the others we did it! Thank you for every detail from the meetings in her home planning her future, to setting up the church, to pulling into Medford and there she was with you all peaceful and complete. I needed to see her one last time and thank you for allowing that to happen. You are a special friend to me and our family.

Dear Sirs & Madam: Your motto is “We Want to Help,” A great motto indeed. Not too long ago my wife, Fujiko Bartley passed away. She was serviced by your organization and laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery. Often times we forget to say “Thank You” for those people who have assisted us during times of sorrow. I want to take this opportunity to say I am particularly pleased to say that you provided “Outstanding” service, and I am indebted to all your staff in the way you took care of my late wife and me. I want to especially say thank you to Mr. Jack McIntyre, who was there to assist me in every conceivable way. “Thank You.” I am your ambassador for all your good deeds. I have on several occasions recommended your organization to others who were in need of such services. I have also heard on several occasions from people who have previously used your services and in every occasion they have expressed huge praise of your organization. My lawyer even commented to me, (was updating my will,) that she recommends your organization whenever the occasion arises based on your past performance of excellence. Should you wish to use my name as a source of reference, please do so. Sincerely yours,

James L. Bartley, Jr.

Jack and I can’t thank you enough for all you have done for us. This has truly been the hardest thing we’ve ever experienced and all of your kind thoughtful words and gestures were amazing. I’m not sure we would be healing as well as we are without your comfort. You have a real calling. Thanks again, we appreciate you soooooo much.

Dear Funeral Alternatives, Thank you so much for providing a beautiful and memorable ceremony to celebrate my father’s life. My father deserved nothing more than such an amazing place for my family to get together during this difficult time of mourning. I am slowly feeling a great deal of closure and know this beautiful ceremony helped. Thank you again and look forward to keeping in contact while I visit my Daddy. Thank you,  -always

Dear Jack, Thank you so very much for helping us with the funeral arrangements for our Mom, Doris Carbery. We appreciated your support and kindness so much. So many details to attend to in such a short time – you made everything flow in to place. Thanks for your smiles, too. Also, please extend our gratitude to your wonderful staff. They all were so helpful and courteous. We had a small family gathering at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen the day after Mom’s service and placed her ashes next to Dad … at long last. Bless them both, Sincerely,

M. G. J. & K.

With gratitude to you for making a very difficult time for us easier to bear. Sincerely

B.H. & D.H.

The sudden passing of my father, George C. Angel, on August 20th, left us in shock. To think you had only received all my required mailings that morning and had information on your web site the next day was impressive. A very heart felt Thank You to each of you for your sympathy and attentiveness! We are appreciative of your service in mixing the ashes of my father and mother in order to fulfill their wishes in spreading them on the water of Puget Sound. God Bless you all

Clair & Staff Words cannot express how thankful our family is for the considerate & personal care that was put into the handling of Joey’s services. You have gone above & beyond our expectations! : )

Family of J.H.

Hello Clair, On behalf of the Senior Companions, I want to thank you for the wonderful presentation you gave on funeral planning for the Senior Companions this past month. They had so many positive comments about your information and the handouts you shared. Yes, we would all be very interested in getting together to tour your new facility when you are ready. Just give me the heads up and we can arrange it. Thank you again for coming and have a wonderful holiday season,

Dear Mr. Ferris: Allow me to offer my highest commendation and appreciation for the sensitive and professional service you provided me and my step-father, R.M. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, efficient and responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to others or use it myself. Thank you! Sincerely,
