Sister Joan, it is only but a matter of time when we will be together again, laughing and talking about something "good to eat!". I will never forget you and how your courage to stand even in the face of death became an inspiration to me and my family. We unite with the family in grief and celebration of Joans' life!

To Sis. Jeannette and Family,
We are deeply saddened by the death of Sis. Joan. We thank God that he allowed our paths to cross. We will always remember her bright smile and her delicious cakes. I sat by her in the choir and she would always provide comic relief. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Jeannette! I cannot believe she is gone! That beautiful smile, and that spirit of hers! She will never be gone as long as I remember her, my feisty seatmate in the soprano section of the Adult Choir for those many years... There was no one like her, and she will be missed. My love and condolences to you and your family! I will certainly look up my girlfriend Joan when I get to Heaven - she will be there!

Mine and my family's heart and prayer go out to you. Your loss is also my loss .
Joan was a beautiful ray of sunshine in this part of the country where sunshine is a rarity. I carry the memory of her smile, loving generosity, and strong spirit deep in my heart of hearts. I am honored to have known Joan. God Bless

To all in Joan's family
My heart and prayers are with you in view of your lost. Death is an enemy according to God's word at 1 Corinthians 15:26, it states that the last enemy death shall be destroyed. God never intended for us to die, we will never get use to death, but a time will come when all in the the graves shall hear Jesus voice and come out. John 5: 28,29 At this time we have the hope to see Joan again in perfect health as one of the meek ones that shall inherit the earth.

I will always treasure her smile, warm heart, hugs and southern recipes. She was such a delight every single day she was a patient at our clinic - to staff and other patients alike.
