It was a privilege to serve with Larry in the Singles Branch Presidency. Both of you had the love of those in the branch where you served so faithfully. Larry's openness, kindness, and dedication to the Lord won over all he worked with. His warmth and sense of humor were qualities that endeared him to all of us. We send our deepest condolences to you, Ann. Our love to you.

Ann-I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing, and hope that it brings you comfort to know he is in a wonderful place. I have nothing but the fondest of memories of Larry, and recall the excellent example that he set for those around him, wherever he served. We were all blessed to know him, and to be a recipient of his warm sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Ann, and if you ever need anything, I hope that you call on me. Much love to you!

Larry was an inspiration to all the youth as I grew up. He taught with love and by example. We all looked up to him. Whether teaching the scouts, helping families in need, or tending to his numerous callings, he was always the consummate teacher and friend to all that had the opportunity to be around him. He truly had a Christ like persona, along with a wonderful and playful personality. We all loved to be in his presence.
He will be sorely missed.

I knew Larry from the National Guard armory in Kent. We served togeather in 1975-1976. He was a good man and believed deeply in what we did there. I am sorry to say that I hadn't any contact with him after that; though I would remember him at times. My deepest condolances to his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace!

Paying proper tribute to a man of Larry Walker's caliber is not an easy feat by any stretch of the imagination. Larry was a Godly man full of Peace and Grace who taught by example; he had the innate ability to reach out and touch the heart of all he came in contact with. Gary, myself and our family are greatly saddened by his departure, however; what Special Comfort we find in the promise that he will dwell with his Heavenly Father forever. Sweet Annie, when we learned of Larry's passing there were so many emotions, thoughts and memories that raced through our minds. We were immediately reminded of all the times Larry made himself available to help any and all in need; he had a sincere desire to always, all ways, be available to befriend and to teach by example... how to be the most accepting of Heavenly Father's children. Our hearts go out to you and your beautiful family as you travel through this most difficult of times. Our Warmest and most Loving Thoughts and Prayers go out to you "Beautiful Lady".

What a wonderful man he was. I will miss his smiling eyes and warm hugs. He was an inspiration and soo very spiritual. I am grateful for the knowledge that I will be able to see him again and get one of those hugs. Ann, I love you dearly, my friend, and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, as you have always been in my heart. If you need anything, you have only to ask. Much love.

While I am sad to see Larry move on, what a wonderful work he has done on while on the earth. His life touched SO many people and I am GRATEFUL to have been one of those he blessed! I am thankful to have known his laughter, the sparkle in his eyes, and the sheer enthusiasm he had for things. Even if it was dealing with a bunch of young single people at the branch, doing geneology or just being in love with his BEAUTIFUL wife, Ann. I am thankful to have known him and grateful for the plan of Salvation, and KNOW that he will be the first one in line to greet everyone with his smiling face!
I love you Ann and send a giant hug your way!
