Obituary of Christopher Lee Stamos

No visitation Christopher Lee Stamos, 58, Olympia, WA, died suddenly of a heart attack at home on Friday evening, July 21, 2006. Chris is survived by his wife and law partner of 15 years Diana, his children; Grace 10, Ricky 12, Sara 13, of Olympia; WA, George Stamos, Seattle, WA, Molly Stamos, San Jose, CA, Nicole Stamos (Phillip Geissbuhler) and their son Henry, Melrose, ME; his sisters, Scottie (Eugene) Moore, Oskaloosa, IA, Kitty (Jeff) Cawiezell, Nashville, TN; brother, George (Melanie) Stamos, Overland Park, KS; and his loving mother Marie Stamos, Oskaloosa, IA. Chris is also survived by numerous relatives, friends and his loyal dog, Jenny. He was pre-deceased by his father George Earl Stamos. Chris never let a day go by without telling his wife, children, friends, and even strangers, how much he loved his family. His favorite pastimes centered around his home; cooking, gardening and watching old movies. When Chris was not at home he was doing what he enjoyed most as an attorney…helping people of the community. His skills and compassion put others at ease. Everyone was drawn to Chris' charismatic personality and eternal optimism. He had a knack for breaking the tension in difficult courtroom situations. Chris touched many lives. His greatest legacy will be his infectious smile, which he brought to those he knew, and those he helped. Chris will be greatly missed as a father, husband/partner, and best friend to many. Please join us in celebrating his life. At the request of Chris' colleagues, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stamos Children's Memorial Account at any Key Bank.
