Will miss Aunt Elizabeth. Many happy memories from my summer stays at the house on the beach. She was always a positive, upbeat person. She will be greatly missed by many.

Sorry to hear about Betty. It has been many years since I’ve seen her. She was a very giving lady, always with a smile. My mother was also very involved with Girl Scouts and Belfair Baptist Church so as a child I spent a lot of time at her home. All my memories of those days fill my heart with joy. Those where very special times. Peace be with her family.

I will always remember my beautiful cousin Elizabeth, She would walk me home from Glencove
School when I was a 1st grader and she was an 8th grader because we both got out early. She was raised in Key Center next door to my family on Homestead land of our grandparents, Andrew and Ellen Olson. Our families always celebrated Christmas Eve together until our adult years.
Thinking of all her Family. She was a tough and happy Swede.
Love Joyce

My Grandma was the best Grandma I could have ever wished for, and she loved her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren dearly. I loved her cooking…cinnamon rolls she let rise overnight, peanut butter and brown sugar sandwiches, and her flapjacks. She spoiled us when we stayed with her every summer, and let us run very wild with that boat up and down the canal water skiing and tubing when Grandpa was at work – as long as she could see us! I am going to miss you Grandma but am glad you are home with Grandpa, and will see you again.

Jack what a beautiful tribute to your Mom. I didn’t realize she grew up in Key Center; so did Bruce’s Dad and sisters. I am sure they knew each other. Your Mother was a wonderful lady.

I feel so blessed to have known Betty for four years. She continually amazed me with her tenacity and strong will to care for herself. She called me her angel, however, she was mine. She gave me such joy and a sense of peace when I was with her. I shall miss her so very much. Love Penny and Jack heaps also.

What a beautiful picture of your Mom. So sorry to hear of your loss; your Mother will be missed. Your Mother and Father were a big part of starting Belfair Community Baptist Church. I know Grandma Hana was always there too. Love you

This wonderful woman will always be my “Mom Matson”. I have known her since 1955 and she has always been there for me. She was there for the birth of my sons, the death of my first wife, accidents, illness and the happiness in my life. She holds a very special place in my heart. I will truly miss her. Andy Anderson
