Obituary of Mark Allen Slavin

Mark Allen Slavin Mark was born February 23, 1955 and passed on August 30, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Slavin. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Eileen, four children, Devin (Lyndsey) of Tumwater, Shawna Lee (Jeremy) of Graham, Brian Galarneau (Mandy) of Tacoma, and Nicole Galarneau (Jeff) of Tumwater; eight grandchildren, Mykalea Lee, Jonathan Salvino, Brianna Galarneau, Casey Lee, Evan Galarneau, Kyah Galarneau, Kylea Pierce, and Preston Preghead; his parents, Bruce and Fran Patten of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Tim Slavin (Vicki) of Tenino; sister, Carrie Delaney from Victoria, TX Mark served the community for 20 years with the Olympic Ambulance, EMT/Firefighter with the East Olympia Fire Department and at Odd Fellows Memorial Park until a debilitating back injury. His hobbies included boating, golf, ladscaping, cooking, SeaHawks, his family and his dogs (Junior and Norman).
