Obituary of JoAnne May Sandusky

none JoAnne May Sandusky, 67, a 42 year resident of Olympia, died at home on Wednesday, December 7, 2005. JoAnne was born September 4, 1938 in Tacoma to Alfred J. and Barbara (Cowart) Sheild. She attended High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. Prior to moving to Olympia she lived in Shelton; Fort Worth, Texas; Terre Haute, Indiana; San Francisco, California and Tacoma. She worked at the Department of Licensing with the State of Washington. She loved to shop and had interests in horseback riding, ice skating, tennis, cats, gardening, and roses. JoAnne is survived by her fiance’, Ted Ostrem of Olympia; two sons, Albert A. Fetterly, of Olympia and Jim Fetterly, of The Woodlands, Texas; two daughters, Ferrill S. Richardson, of Richland and Angela K. Smith, of Olympia; one sister, Pat Wiedman, of Terra Haute, Indiana; her mother, Barbara Cowart, also of Terra Haute; and five grandchildren; Joshua A. and Emily A. Smith, of Olympia; Garrett Lamothe, of Richland; Dakota N. and James A. Fetterly, of The Woodlands. She was preceded in death by her father. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Masonic Center, 521 North St. SE, Tumwater.
