Goodbye my friend; haven't seen you since 1946 in San Diego, California, but remember you and your kindness and Sharon Kay well. (I always thought you were very pretty too). We were related by marriage, i.e., Sharon Kay's dad was a brother to my Aunt Gay Tinkler Moreland's husband "Eddie". God bless you, sorry I wasn't able to find you before. Love, Beverly Tinkler

Grandmama,
We love you with all our hearts, and although it pains us so, we will remember that you are in a better place. I hope so much to make you proud, know that I love you, and will forever miss you.

Gram, life will never be the same without you. I take comfort in knowing you are with my sister now but feel so empty without you.
I love you so much,
Jamie

My thoughts are with you all. Phyllis was a lovely person. John and I always enjoyed our visits with Phyllis and Bill. No doubt, she is now making a difference upstairs.

Sandra Stratton employee The Colonial Inn posted a condolence

Phyllis always had a wonderful smile, even during the early morning hours whilst waiting for an airport van to take her to the airport to catch a flight to Wichita. She was most enthusiatic about her new life at The Colonial Inn, and as she said to me when she first arrived at The Inn, "She felt as if her apartment was custom made for her".
Phyllis will be greatly missed because she loved and was loved by both residents and staff. In closing I send my deepest sympathy to Phyllis's family during this time of great loss.
God Bless
Sandra Stratton

Phyllis was an extra specail lady to us as a family. Phyllis was full of love and compasion, she fell in love with my family as if we were a forever a part of hers. We went on many trips, and had many special times together. Phyllis was always so sweet to my daughter and always made her feel special on the trips we went on. She was a very special lady to everyone who met her and she was always sure to stop people and tell them about Blake who came to work with his mother every day and how lucky all the residents at The Colonial Inn were. We will miss her, and are happy she is reunited with her husband in heaven!
