My Grandma Byler: How do you describe a women that warmed the room when she walked in. She had a charismatic way of making everyone around her smile and laugh. My grandma was a role model to all the women in her family she was full of life and lived her life to the fullest . Her travels with my grandpa and the love the two of them shared is one of a kind. Now she is in heaven and looking down at all those who she left behind. My Grandma's presence will always be around me and I hope she is proud of us girls as much as we are proud to be her granddaughters. I love you grandma
Love melanie

Having lived at Laurel Oaks for several years, we got to visit with Myrna several times. We enjoyed knowing her/them. They certainly did enjoy RV'ing alot. We give the family our deepest sympathy.

Ron, I was so sorry to read of your wife's passing, and want to send you my condolences. You have been blessed with 4 kids, and I'm sure you will feel her presence in them.
Every time I pass your former home in West Duluth, I think of you, and your Mom, and how she told me if I was going to drink coffee there I had to learn to drink it black--which I did. I recall your visit to my home on 38th (which we moved back into after 5 years of marriage) and how happy both of us were about our upcoming marriages. Yours was 4 months before ours. Hard to believe its been 47 years already! I am wondering what brought you to Washington state? You will carry your sweetheart in your memory, and heart, until you meet again. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Myrna was a bright and cheerful person. She would tell very detailed stories of her ventures around the nation and beyond. Although I only got to know her through family occasions she touched my life and gave me insight into my wifes side of the family. She will be remembered by us all and will be looking down on us from heaven with a smile I'm sure awaiting our arrival.

My grandma's smile lite up a room, she was very loving and very sweet. I enjoyed her stories about traviling and enjoyed her warmness when I came by. I remember when I was a little girl and I stayed with her for the weekend while my mother was in Las Vegas, my grandma let me play in her pond in the paddle boat and when she made us lunch, we both put the potatoe chips on our sandwiches. Last christmas I got to spend with her up at my house we went threw my wedding pictures and she was just so healthy and so happy. My grandma will always be remembered for her nurturing tenderness that she gave to her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. I know my grandma's in heaven with Jesus and all the pain and suffering that she had to feel with this cancer is no more, I can imagine her beautiful smile looking down on us waiting in anticipation for her loving husband to meet her there someday. It was so wonderful to see a couple so in Love they never really got out of the HONEY MOON STAGE!!! They are soul mates and best friends and it is hard to find a love like that!! I LOVE YOU GRANDMA and I will see you again!!!
