Obituary of Mark I. Rosenblum

Mark I. Rosenblum Mark I. Rosenblum, 59, of Olympia, died from cancer July 22, 2008. He was born January 24, 1949 to Marvin and Sylvia (Cohen) Rosenblum in Shaler, Pennsylvania. He received a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. In 1994 he married Jill Anderson, who survives. Mark retired from the military and as a Washington State employee. He was a Legislative Information Center volunteer. Among his hobbies were reading, camping, golf, Steeler’s fan, tennis, pool and cards. He was a member of the Olympia Elks Lodge and Boy Scouts of America. Including his wife, Jill, Mark is survived by 3 sons, Mark Aaron (Effie) Rosenblum and their children, Zackary and Ashley, of Aviano Air Force Base, Italy; Alan Wischnesky and his child, Victoria, of Olympia; Daniel Wischnesky, of Olympia; 2 daughters, Jennifer Johnson and her son, Tyler; Tracey (Jason) Anderson, all of Lacey; also his beloved goldens, Brodie and Kyra and most important his grand pugs, Princess Pearl and Baby Jade. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Elks Lodge, 1818 4th Avenue E., Olympia.
