I want to paraphrase the words of King David about Jonathan ( 2 Sam. 1:26) “ I grieve for you Donald my brother, you were very dear to me.”
I worked side by side with Donald for more than two years in the printing department of Seatac Packaging Co. He was my real friend and the real Christian. If I needed any help or a question, it was not necessary to look for help because always, I knew Donald was ready to do that. In my memory Donald stays with gentle smile, always calm at any stressful situations, never irritated or angry.
I believe Donald went from this world to “be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” (Luke 14:14)
I grieve for you …

Our friend Don had wonderful qualities. He was kind, and patient, and always willing to give someone another chance. It is sad to see him go. He was a good teacher and he always dealt with the frustrations of work without overreacting. Calm and steady, methodical and detailed, he was an excellent colleague to work with. We all miss him dearly as our co-worker and I will miss him most as my friend. Our sympathies go out to the family.

Pirjo, I regret I will not be able to attend the service. Please accept my hopes and prayers for you and Anya as you celebrate Don's life. He was extremely fortunate to have you two to share his life. God Bless and keep you both.

Pirjo, I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. I had so much fun working with you and Don. Don had such a great sense of humor - the jokes he and Rick W. played on each other still make me laugh. Faith can be such a comfort - it is wonderful you and Don shared that.

Knowing Don was a great pleasure. We lived across the alley and had many back fence conversations about dogs, the ocean, and life. We missed him during his illness and will continue to miss him. His family is in our hearts.
