Obituary of Kenneth H. Potts

Kenneth Howard Potts Kenneth Howard Potts, 75, a 16 year resident of Lacey, died May 30, 2009. He was born October 24, 1933 to Lewis C. and Rose M. (Parent) Potts in Vancouver. He attended Evergreen High School in Vancouver. From 1976 to 1979 he attended Colorado Springs Nazarene Bible College in Colorado. On September 27, 1958 in Vancouver he married LuAnn Buzzini. She preceded him in death. Prior to Lacey, he lived in Gold Beach, Oregon, Brush Prairie, and Battle Ground. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Navy from August 1952 to August 1963. He worked in janitorial service from 1979 to 2009. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, brothers and sisters, and camping. Kenneth is survived by 4 sons, Joe, Gary, Jim, and Dennis; 4 daughters, Cindy Truax, Debbie Farver, Larisa Sawyer, and Becky Gregorich; 2 brothers, Harold ‘Bud’ and Roy; 2 sisters, Gladys Sigler and Carol Bacon; also 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild due on September 24, 2009. Including his wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Chester, George ‘Sonny’, and Roger; 1 sister, Georgia Sigler; and his parents. A party will be held for him beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Tumwater Hill Elementary School, 3120 Ridgeview Ct. S.W., Tumwater, WA 98512.
