Kevin Paull

Obituary of Kevin W. Paull

In Loving Memory of Kevin Ward Paull Kevin moved with his family to the Olympia area in 1967. He attended McKinley, The Evergreen State College Community School, Chinook and North Thurston schools. Following high school Kevin followed his interest in foods and received a diploma from Job Corps at Yachats Oregon in Culinary Arts. He made his home in the South Sound area and practiced his trade at several local businesses. At the time of his death he was employed by St Peter Hospital Nutrition and Dietetic Services. Kevin greatly enjoyed family and friend relationships, being the down-to-earth, easy going, aging rocker type of person that he was. He was also a participant in the CB radio community locally. Tinkering with cars occupied a lot of leisure hours. In his youth Kevin excelled at swimming, winning several awards. Building model cars won him blue ribbons at the Thurston County Fair. Various types of pets found homes with Kevin. Building and sharing his movie and CD collection provided many hours of enjoyment. The people who knew him appreciated his keen sense of humor. He was always willing to help friends and acquaintances in need from shoveling snow to free a car, to assisting in a quick tire change. With his curiosity of the inner workings of most things mechanical, he excelled at the repair or assembly of many things high tech or not. His passing leaves a large void in many lives but he remains in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth W. Paull in 1972. He is survived by his mother Lorna (Olympia), his brother Nathan (Seattle), his uncle Egon Badel (Red Deer AB), his cousins Bryn Badel (Victoria BC) and Seline Badel-Wong (Calgary AB). There will be no formal service but a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Please click on View Guestbook below so we can notify you of the details.
