Dear Lorna and Nathan: My family and I were so saddened to read of Kevin's death. Lorna, I can't imagine the pain and heartache of losing your child and Nathan your brother, I am so sorry. My kids, Michael and Christina, have good memories of the times spent with your kids when they were all little. Michael saw Kevin occasionally as they were both accomplished chefs working in local restaurants. I pray that your memories and the love you had for Kevin will bring you some comfort in the weeks and months ahead. May God bless you and your family.

I have alot of memories of Kevin. We lost contact for awhile, but have spent lots of time last year or so in contact. I remember Kevin and his passion for the CB Radio. We spent hours talking to people all over the country. I will always remember the first time I talked to Kevin on CB. I was driving thru Olympia, and from that time on everytime I went thru town, he always made it a point to talk to me and wish me safe trip. There are so many things people do not know about Kevin, but I will always have them with me. I will miss him deeply.

Some of my fondest memories of Kevin are of his passion, creativity, and full tilt commitment to Halloween when he was a young boy. It also amazed me that he remembered me when we met again when he was an adult. He greeted me with genuine warmth and affection. At that time I really needed a friendly face. I'm truly sorry he has left this world. The passing of such a good soul hurts us all, not just me.

My memories of Kevin are of a bright, energetic, curious little boy. He was part of a busy and active family, who at that time were involved in the Olympia Unitarian Fellowship. I still have the ceramic commemorative item made in honor of the Unitarian presence in Olympia. It was designed (I believe) by Ken, produced by the kids in religious education, and fired in the Paulls' own home kiln.
I wasn't surprised to learn that Kevin was involved with food for his career. His mom was a fine cook and meals in the Paull home were always a treat.
I was sorry to read of his passing at such a young (from my perspective) age.

Kevin was our beloved neighbor and friend. He always had a good and kind word, a delicate dry sense of humor, and a smile. Many people will miss him as there are so few people who move through the world as he did.
