Although it's sad to lose such a great lady there is comfort in remembering all the times she made such a difference in your life.
I remember the bay place and having both our dads and moms enjoying their children and grand kids. Dennis and Jo Alice so sorry for your loss.

I send my deepest sympathy to the family of this wonderful lady. We always met at the track by the Olympia High School. She could outrun all of us.
What a great show to the world what an elderly person can do.
I am sorry she has gone .I will miss seeing her.I talked with her daughter in the Safeway one day.
Peace

I picked up the Olympian on my lunch break today and read Mabel's obituary. While I didn't know or have ever met Mabel, I think her life story should be an inspiration for us all. What an amazing woman! I send my deepest sympathy to the family.

Dear Mabel,
Peacefully, sleep comes to a dear beloved heart.
Quietly, we understand the time has come to part.
Tenderly, the love shines on, a never ending light.
Gratefully, we feel its warmth and say,
Sweet dreams, goodnight.

Our sympathy goes out to Denny, Marilyn, and, the rest of the family. Denny you did a great job helping your Mother to run, enjoy, and take part with you in one of your favorite sports. She was your biggest fan, at your sporting events. I know you will all miss her terrribly. Remember, God only picks the best. He must have needed another running coach in Heaven. She was sure a good example to all of us. I always thought your Mother, (My Aunt )was the Best!

Moe I know you have spent many hours over the past several years with quality time with your mother. I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting her several times, and enjoying her company at your house. If there is anything I can do just call me, I know how difficult this is to loose a parent. See you in the office sweetie.
