Sandy and I were friends in Middle School. We moved away from Eugene in 1975. I just thought of her today and googled her name. I remember her as always being happy and friendly. I was glad to read that she had a successful life and a great family.

Thank you all for your support, kind words, prayers, flowers, phone calls and donations to various charities in Sandy's memory. She is a very unique spirit, her spontineaty always kept us guessing at what was coming next which made life fun and, sometimes a little crazy... but we wouldn't have changed one minute of it. I see where many of you have written about her competitive nature and yes it's true, she loved to compete. Everythings a contest, everything's about fun!!! It was that same competitive spirit she used to fight her sickness... and it's what kept her with us for many months longer than anyone ever expected (a fiesty-ness not seen since her late grandmother Elly).
No matter what the future holds for us we know we have the support of our great friends and our two wonderful families. Sandy told us not grieve, that we'll be togther again soon enough. She told us to live our life to the fullest so that's what we plan to do. Have fun, share a drink with a good friend, laugh when we can and get on with life. It's what she wanted, it's what she would have done. Thank you for being there for us, we love you all. And should you find yourself in need of a good friend sometime, we want you to know we'll be there for you too.
The Nokleby's Scott, Austin & Chelsey.

Jerry & Gay and family, you know how sorry we are about Sandra. You all have been part of our lives since Jerry started working for Paul in the early 1960's. It's not easy to lose a child but we must focus on the precious memories left behind. Pete remembers following the swim meets Sandra was in. He remembers Sandra as a real competitor. We are here for you so please don't hesitate to call us. With love, Pete, Joanie, Jason, Paula & Willie

Sis I Love you sooo Much. I know you were looking down on your service and I am sure you were happy! I would like to say to everyone that put notes in this guestbook and attended the service or sent cards etc... Thank you very much. All of your kind words have made a incredibly tough time a little easier. Scott, and Kids, I want to tell you how much I love you guys and want to make sure that we continue to grow togther for life. I have never known a stronger person in my life as my sister! She lived her last months like she lived her life, a healthy mix of spontineaty and love and piss and vinegear!! She was unique and she had a beautiful spirit and soul. I could go on for pages, but I will some it up with, "thank you and I love you!"

Scott,
You all have been in our thoughts and prayers. Scott you know there are not enough words to express how sorry we are for the loss of Sandy. She was so strong, and kept me laughing, even to the end. Her friendship meant alot to us all. I so remember that infectious laugh of hers, and all are great times at ball games.
She was such a postive role model to Melissa, and always believed in her, and Melissa loved her for that. You know you can call us for anything. Our best to Chelsey, Austin and her folks.
We love you, and keep the faith!

Dear Scott and family, I was so saddened to read of Sandy's passing in the paper. I know she leaves a very large hole in your hearts that can never be filled.
My memories of Sandy are of a happy, laughing, spirited woman. In all our work together doing the plays, she was always a source of support for me . She always had a positive attitude even when the going got rough and she seemed to be able to keep a good perspective on things. Her bubbly personality and her excellent sense of humor are what I loved best about her. Her whole face lit up and I couldn't help, but start giggling in her presence.
She liked to go with the flow and she was very fun when we went out for drinks after shows. I'll bet she was the best wife and mother ever- fun and attentive to her family's needs.
She has been taken away too soon. I am a better person having known her and I can feel her spirit right now warming my heart.
Although this is a big loss, I guess it's our gain to have been lucky enough to have been in her life. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
Love, Debbie
