Karen and family. May it comfort you to know the arms of your friends and God are around you, holding your heart close and in time the tears will yield to smiles. Larry was an amazing person. Everytime I saw him he was always rushing however, he always had time to stop and talk to me and ask me how my day was going. He will be tremendously missed by all. May you find the memories of the life and love you shared with Larry overcome your sadness and those memories will become forever a keepsake in your heart. If you should ever want to talk, please know that I will be here.

Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Larry was always a part of the agency and will remain so to me. Since I only started with ESD in 1975, Larry was part of the bedrock of the agency, from my perspective. He was a fountain of information about the labor market and what direction the state was going in. He was integral to what the agency is today. I will miss his presence. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Karen, I'm so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the brief time I worked with Larry on a special project with other retirees. He had us all laughing all the time. He's at peace now and with the Lord, I hope you can get some comfort from knowing that. I know you will miss him, but remember only the good times and that will help you through the tough days.

Larry was undoubtedly the most inspirational boss I had. Back in the early '80's when I was worried about being able to handle motherhood and a career, he insisted that "you could have it all, just be myself." A great, funny, intelligent guy. Thank you Karen for sharing him with all of us and making him even more wonderful!

Please accept my deepest sympathy on Larry's passing. I am so sorry. I remember Larry as a very caring and cheerful person who cared about other people. He was always so nice and very sincere. Keep your many good memories close to your heart. In caring and friendship, Sylvia Wyman.

Larry was a good friend. He stood by his friends and helped them through tough times. I will always remember the times he came to the house and shared stories with my Dad (who thought of Larry as a son). His laughter rings in my ears.............it was from the belly........he was a great human being and I am very thankful to have had the pleasure of having him in my life. I can see him and Dad now...........playing golf and drinking wine.......

My heartfelt sympathys to all of his family.
It wasn't just that smile of his, but the laughter he had and that which he brought to all that he came in contact with.
When I think of him, the memories of our childhood, the teen years, and the early adult years are so many, and I smile as I reminess. He is now in a better place, and I am sure trying to convert everyone in becoming a Republican.

Karen, my prayers are with you and your family. The things I remember about Larry all revolve around what a good person he was and how positive, no matter what came his way. He always had time to talk to staff and his work with the Mutual Aid Fund always came first with him no matter the crisis of the day. He was a wonderful and supportive boss and I enjoyed working with him and for him all the 30+ years I had the privilege to know him. He was someone who would listen to ideas and not criticize or laugh because he knew they were important if only to you. He will always be, in so many people's thoughts, "nice" and so much more.
