Hey, Bob, this is Vicki Peterson (Whitney now). I'm sorry about your mom. I wondered if you were the right Bob Longman, but as soon as I saw your mom's picture I knew she was your mother. I think about you and everyone else I worked with, and miss all of you. Send me an e-mail about how you're doing!

Dear Bob, Nancy and Dave,
I loved the picture that you placed of our Mom. I felt like I was standing in the kitchen at the log house on Walloon Lake looking into eyes. Such wonderful memories that I have of our family and your family during our youth.
I am sorry that her death was so sudden, such that there isn't time to say all the goodbyes, but I am very glad that it was a peaceful passing on. What a picture I have in my mind of this great cloud of witnesses watching over us - Bob, Edith, Gary, Dad, Pop and Nana. She has joined a great choir.
Aunt Edie and Uncle Bob have left behind very fond, timeless memories with me. I am sending much heartfelt sympathy to each of you in the loss of your mother. My love, Linda

Dear Bob and Nancy, We are so sorry to learn of Edith's death. We are really surprised although we knew she had a weak heart.
I will always remember her putting out a spread on the picnic table at lunch time when you guys and Bob Sr. were building your new house. She enjoyed keeping the construction team fueled!
You are both in our thoughts. With much love,
Kelly and Ben
