No visitation Ron Logan, 79, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Lacey, Washington. He was born in Topeka, Kansas. Ron and family moved to Amarillo in 1966. Ron was divorced from his first wife Margaret in 1971. Ron remained in Amarillo through 1973. With his second wife, Kimberly, Ron traveled to many places, making new friends wherever he went. They settled back in Topeka in 1993 where Kim was a psychiatric nurse at the V. A. hospital. Following Kim’s untimely death in 2002, Ron began traveling the country visiting his family and many friends. Ron is survived by brothers Jim Logan of Cedar Point, Ks. and Bob Logan of Malaga, Wa . He is also survived by his first wife, Margaret Logan of Amarillo, Tx., sons Larry Logan of Olive Branch, Ms. and Dean Logan of Amarillo, Tx. and daughters Susan Johnson of Greensboro, NC. and Diane Hester of Lacey, Wa. Also grandchildren, nieces and nephews and countless great friends. Dad and Kim were finally set free in the beautiful Boiler Bay Park on the Oregon coast south of Lincoln City on Monday evening, July 2, 2007. The family arrived about sunset and thought this to be the perfect place for their "farewell". As you can see, the beauty of the coast is breathtaking. We all had a complete feeling of peace and comfort after the ceremony and we hope everyone will share in that with us. Our Love to all. Please join us in celebrating his life by enjoying a good joke or story. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity or local hospice.
