I am so sorry I missed the memorial service. I just found out about Dyana's passing. Dyana faced her illness with grace and strength. The closeness she shared with Georgann was truly inspirational. Dyana was sweet, caring and a joy to be around. She felt at peace with her life and with her passing the last time I saw her. She will be missed.

Gosh, What to say? I am beyond words that Dyana isnt among us anymore. I know that she has bigger plans now and is busy beautifying and gracing everyone on her journey. I went to school with her. She invited me to my first slumber party, when she lived by the Girl Scout Camp, Camp Kennydale. I remember her as a bright, happy sunflower. Always ready to be a friend. I was blessed to have met and knew her and sad to have lost track of such a rare find.
My thoughts and prayers go out ot all who loved and cared about her.

Georgeann, I'm so glad we found each other. Through you I found 3 wonderful half siblings. I'm so glad I got to know Dyana. She was so full of life, fun, and a joy to be around. I'm thankful I was able to come for a visit last month. I'm going to miss her, but I know she's fine now. We'll all see her again. Keep your spirits up, your'e always in my thoughts and prayers.

It seems like we met forever ago. So many hours spent cold and wet, or hot and sweaty, and miserable, riding around in a truck, working together. "What ever you do, DON'T say that over the county radio!" "Dyana... Dyana...."SPLASH!!!" Lee, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THAT DITCH?!?!?!?!" "You paid that for A BEANIE BABIE?!?! " ' I can't believe that we are driving around... measuring cracks in sidewalks!" The 10 years that we spent together in those trucks and on the roads have given me a lifetime's worth of precious memories. She was the best Buddy that anyone could want to have. Always able to laugh at the goofiness of life and not take it all too seriously. Even as I helped her, dripping wet, out of the drainage ditch in the middle of a February morning, she was laughing.
Dyana, Buddy, I wish I could have helped you beat this evil monster. We are all proud of the strength with which you fought this battle. And I know where ever you are now, you are surrounded by Beanie Babies, twinkies, and sunflower seeds, and laughing at the world. Love ya, Pal!

Growing up on Buker Street all those years ago was a such a blast. The memories of childhood spending time with kids on Buker Street, playing until dark in the summer months is etched in my mind. Dyana was such a great person, I don't think I ever remember her not smiling, her laugh was contagious. To hear of this was shocking and knowing that she is in a better place and with others we have all lost makes it a little easier. Her spirt lives on in the lives she touched. We are out of town and unable to attend the service but will be there in spirit. Our condolences go out to the family.

george our now foster daughter we love you and hope you will let us stay in your life forever. We loved our foster daughter so much and it was so hard to see her going down hill for so long. We prayed everynight that the good lord you get her out of her pain. We even talked to our mothers Sunday night and asked them to help her in anyway. Jeff,Rosy, Isabelle, Crystal and Debbie we fill your pain and wish we could say or do something for you but we can't do that, so just keep her in your hearts and in your lives. She is with us all the time and if you want to talk or yell at her, she will listen. We love your all

Dyanna, I was distressed to learn of your illness when I attended the Annual Christmas meeting this past December.
We were hoping so much for your recovery.
The community has became less than it was, since your departure.
There are no doubts in my mind that you will enjoy your loved ones again. Since you have arrived in Heaven before me, I ask that you save a place for me.
Your friend from the shop maintenance crew. John Hinklin

Dyana was one of the brightest lights I have ever met in my life. How could you not be drawn to such a special being. I will miss her smile, her gentle stride with one hand in her pocket, her goofy sense of humor, and her friendship. Dyana indeed cherished her family so much, including her four-legged friends, & talked of you all often. She was so happy when her family grew to include loved ones she had not previously met. Dave, she felt so blessed to have you in her life & I know you wish it could have been longer. Jeff, you were her hero and she lit up the room when talking about her brother. It was my honor to meet you. Debbie, she loved being your sister. Crystal, she delighted in telling us stories of her beautiful niece. Georganne, I will miss not seeing you in our parking lot in the afternoons waiting for Dy. You be a good girl for Bette and Rex! They love you but I wouldn't put it past them to ground you! My thoughts are with all of Dy's family, as well as her extended family Rex, Bette, and Anna. Please call if there is anything you need.

My family and I will miss you very much. Maybe once or twice in ones lifetime, someone like you comes around. I am thankful that I got a chance to get to know you, and us becoming good friends. Every time I see a little fuzzy wuzzy caterpillar crossing the road, I will think of all the times you stopped the truck on a busy 50 m.p.h road to let it cross the road. I doubt that I will ever meet someone again as kind and caring as you.....so long Lee
