We are the sister and brother of Jimmy. We would like to thank all of you who came to his service and took the time to send us these wonderful memories. It has been a long, difficult road without our older brother. He was one in a kind. Never to say an unkind word to or about others. We will always cherish these memories. We thank you always for being a part of Jim's life.

Jim touched many people's lives and hearts. I met him when I was 17 and we all used to run around together and would play baseball at South Bay School. We lived in the Skookumchuck Valley in 2005. Jim loved being by the river. He would sit in the mornings on the tailgate of his truck watching the elk on the hill. Being the outlaw he was, Jim & his buddy would go behind gates and drive around for hours just hoping to see the elk up close. Jim helped me raise my son Jake. Jake's friends enjoyed Jim's glowing personality and to this day they mimic Jim's gestures that they thought were awesome and thought he was the coolest guy they had ever met. Jim would let them play heavy metal music upstairs of the house. He could even sleep through it! Jim taught my son many things such as cooking, camping, farming, working on cars, fixing things and loving life. I wish I could thank him for all he taught me and for loving me.

Jimbo's Family & Friends:
This is again, unfortunately, one of the hardest things we've had to do in our lives. Just 3 years to the day we lost our sister, Kim, in an auto accident we were standing there to show how much you, too, have touched our lives. When people were sharing stories about Jimbo at the service, Danny & I wanted to tell another one but were too overwhelmed to make it through without breaking down.
Jimbo went to elk camp with us a couple of years ago at Winston Creek and after a long day of hunting, we were sitting around the campfire relaxing with a couple of beers. When the wind started up, at first we thought it wasn't any big deal. Then all of the "old guys" (Kelly's day & uncles) left & went into Gary's motor home when trees started crashing and branches were breaking. Of course, we called them sissies & stayed where we were. About that time, a branch about 5 feet long and quite big around came crashing down on poor Jimbo's head. However always the dedicated hunter, fisher, and outdoorsman, old Jimbo just cracked up while we were freaking out to make sure he was ok.
Jimbo, thank you for being the friend and man that you were while we had you here with us. Your family said you were a better person because of us, but WE are a better person because of you. You took our oldest daughter, Melissa, with you and Kim to Disneyland for the trip of her lifetime! Thank you for putting differences aside, for being there for our family when we lost our beloved sister and daughter, to stand by our side, and for just being you. We love you and will miss you until we all can stand side by side and enjoy the next journey we all will make together. We thank your family (especially your mom) for choosing "that one" in the orphanage in Germany!!! We love you and will never forget you, Jimbo!!!!

Jimbo had told me about his best friend's bachelor party and my uncle had planned it, made all the arrangements, etc. but I was only 17 and determined to go anyways. Most of the guys supported me going, all besides my mom! Nevertheless, I had a great time and Jimbo helped pull through for my cause, but I had to drive home though.
I spent a lot of time with Jim. He taught me a great deal of things and treated me like his kin. This guy lived his life the way he wanted to and people admired him for it. He wouldn't show it, but he believed in my mother, myself, and loved his friends with all his heart.
There are a ton of stories I could tell you, the the main point is to believe in yourself and have fun. That's how this man lived. He was an extremely inspiring individual, I'm sure he's kickin' it in a lounge in heaven screaming for the Seahawks!

It saddens me that you are no longer with us. Will miss that great laugh of yours, playing pull tabs with you, etc. You always had a kind word to say to me, no matter what. You could always make me smile, therefore everytime I think of you, it will bring a smile to my face and am glad I was able to be a part of your life. So Jimbo, as you would have said to me I will say to you "How do you like me now? ".
Love and miss you.

Pick, I was shocked and saddened to learn of your tragic accident. Although we lost contact as adults, I have the fondest memories of our childhood days. We called ourselves the dirt road raiders because we would ride our bikes into the fields and woods to torment the bees nests in the ground. We would plummet the nests with rocks and dirt clods until the bees chased us and we would ride like the dickens to escape. Usually one of us got stung! Also, I remember the tree forts we built and climbing trees while the gang would chop them down while we were slill up in the tree! What fun we had! Thanks for the memories. Forever friends, Denny
