Dr. Johnson was not only a great and personal friend, but also my personal physician. I had been friends with him since around 1979 or 1980 when my best friend Marika and he got married. They were a great pair, having the same interests in music, opera and the theatre. I have truly missed the friendship of Dr. Johnson since he was moved to Washington by his son some two years or so ago. I missed his humor, his music and his counsel. Marika, Greg, Burton, Stephanie, Zoltan and Andrea, plus all the seven grandchildren and miscellaneous friends and relatives, my sincere condolences. Papa, we have and we do miss you. Sleep well.

I've known Dr. Johnson since 1981. He was such a remarkable human being. I loved his jokes, his character, his sweet personality and most of all, his greatness.
Dr. Johnson gave me so much laughter and friendship.
I loved Dr. Johnson like a father.
I will never forget him.

All the patients and nurses loved Dr. Johnson. He was a great friend, mentor and doctor. He had real compasion for his patients and was always good for a laugh. He always kept his humor even when things were rough. He was always there for us in Cardiology to lend a helping hand for tests, information or just a shoulder to cry on. He was the greatest and will be missed immensely.

I appreciated, so much, the time, concern and interest that Dr. Johnson took at work, at the Cardiology Dept. of Glendale Adventist. He was always approachable and comfortable to ask questions about medical quirks for self or other patients. I sure do miss him.
God bless you all.

Dr. Johnson was such a great doctor and friend too. He had impeccable bedside manner and always made me feel good after an office visit. I just loved his sense of humor and he always made me laugh. His wife Marika ran that office so well, always enjoyed talking with her. I still make her goulash recipe to this day! Haven't had as good a doctor since, and know I never will again. He will be sorely missed.
