Hi kids, do you remember me, I used to live in the Big House with Andy and Mary...I painted the wall in the kitchen with the Earth...and I thought the world of Lary and Donna, both. I have many fond memories of your family, and I'm sorry to hear of Lary's passing...If possible, say hello to your mother for me, I hope she is well. God Bless all of you and your children. Peace, Peder Liljequist

We just read about your dad's passing in the Vidette and are so sorry for his lose. He was such a good friend, as well as a brilliant and trusted co-worker with our dad during the GHCounty years.
When our dad retired Lary helped him transfer his multitude of 8mm movies to video.....their background conversation and captioning is hilarious and something we will always cherish forever.
Now our dads can reunite...and maybe design a bridge to the heavens for the rest of us :) Our sincerest sympathies and prayers are with your family at this time. Cathy (Kirkwood) Shapansky, Lela Kirkwood and Jack Kirkwood, LeAnne Kirkwood and Janet (Kirkwood) Mana and families

To all that knew him, Lary was known for his eccentric life style. He relished in bold and cryptic antics that could baffle, if not shock, not only his family, but, casual encounters of all walks. He was tuely an enigma.
Contrary to how it may have seemed, however, Lary was first and foremost a loving husband, father and brother. He harbored no ill will toward another human being. There was never a person to approach him that he wouldn't give his full attention and genuine consideration. He made no distinctions of ones status. Lary was equally attentive to the misplaced and down-trodden as he was to those of prominence and good fortune. He was non-judgmental and embraced all who entered his life.
I love you Bro; and, I miss you already.

Visudha, Shaunne, Jeru, Sara,
Know that your father is no longer suffering and is in the hands of God. Be joyous and rid yourselves of sadness, guilt or anger. Let love replace hurt. It's all part of the big picture that we can't see yet. He was a funny guy and he made me laugh sometimes, although, I can't say I ever "really" knew him as I was pretty young when he married your mother. Peace to all of you and your families.

It was with bittersweet sadness that I read of the passing of Lary. He was a very good friend for many years. I think with fondness of the many nights we played bridge in the big house and all of the fun that we had there. I have often thought of your dad over the last few years. I also remember watching the four of your girls as you grew up. It is hard to believe that it has been so many years since I saw you. May your dad rest in peace and each of you have long and joyful lives. My prayers are with you.

Dear Kelly and family. I was sorry to read of Lary's death. I have such wonderful memories of time spent with Larry, your parents and brothers and sisters during our high school years and beyond. Over the years, I have thought of you and wondered how all of you are. I know it is hard to lose a family member. My prayers are with all of you.
