Joey was and always will be a blessing to our family. Every time we would shake Joey's hand we never knew what kind of responce we would get from him. We seemed to always get a smile from him even up to the last time he attened church. We loved listening to Joey sing "Jesus loves me". Joey's love for Jesus was amazing and such an example to our family. We are so greatful that we got to get to know Joey. We look forward to the day we will get to spend time with Joey again. He will always be missed and loved.

Joey will greatly be missed but he will forever be in our hearts. What a blessing to hear Joey call me Pastor, then when the time came that he no longer reconized me it was hard. Joey loved his church and his Pastor. My life has been changed since Joey came into our lives. Thanks Dolores for taking good card of him.

I worked in the same building that Joey worked in (Cherry Street Plaza). I have since moved across the street. I still come in time to time to say hello to the Morningside crew. They have always been the highlight of my day! Joey was very special to me. I loved his laugh and it will always ring in my memory. I loved his hugs and his spirit. Part of me grieves for our loss, but part of me is happy in the knowledge that he is home and whole in the arms of Jesus.

We were shocked and sad to hear of Joey’s passing. We were unaware of his declining health. A noticeable void was noted when Joey stopped showing up for work. We missed seeing Joey delivering the mail throughout the building and we often briefly talked to him in the hallway. His delightful smile and the unique laugh he had often brought smiles to our faces. He will be missed.

We're sad to learn of Joey's passing, but delighted to know that he is with Jesus in Heaven right now. Remembering back to our attendance at OBBC, Joey was an inspiration and a testimony to the love of Jesus. He was a joy to be around. Our condolences to the family. Our prayers are with you during this time. Our hope is strong to someday be all together again, but this time in Heaven with our Savior, where Joey has gone on before.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Joey. I helped
Joey for many years with the care of his ear cleanings while working with his doctors. He was very special to me and I will always remember the hugs I always got from him. He left me with a totally differant view of the meaning "special needs". Joey was not a special needs person, he was just a very special person. Enjoy your eternal life my friend.
