Obituary of Jack Leslie Hartough

The Masonic Center 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday 9:00 AM until service time Saturday Jack L. Hartough Jack L. Hartough, 73, of Lacey, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at his home. Jack was born January 28, 1934 in Hoquiam, Washington to Leslie and Lois (McCullough) Hartough. He was raised in Hoquiam and lived there for 52 years. He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1952. On November 20, 1953 at the Hoquiam Presbyterian Church, he married the former Mary Lou Rightmire, who survives. That same year, he joined the US Army and served until 1955. Jack worked as a dispatcher for Grays Harbor Public Utilities District No. 1. Jack and Mary Lou have spent the last twenty-one years living in the Olympia area. Jack enjoyed refinishing furniture, garage sales, working with wood, yard work and cooking. He especially enjoyed time with his family. Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, John Hartough (Linda), Olympia, Joseph Hartough, Bloominton, Illinois; one daughter, Cathy Mitrovich, Tumwater; one brother, Dan Hartough, Hoquiam; also five grandchildren, Jacob Hartough, Jeremy Hartough, Meredith Mitrovich, Marina Mitrovich and Savannah Hartough.
