Dear family,
We are sorry that we couldn't make it for the memorial service, and sorrier still that we didn't have a chance to bring the kids from Indiana to meet their Great-Granddad before he passed.
Our hearts are with you, though, regardless of the miles, and we pray the love of Christ and His Holy Spirit comfort you all at this time.

I loved my uncle and aunt very much and only when my dad died, Leonard Hargett 4 years ago did I reunite with them and eventually with my cousins. Kenneth and Naomi were by my dad's side until he died and that shows what kinda of person and people they are, Loving, Family always, Welcoming, and Kind. I will truly cherish the times we had together and will miss him very much.
Love you Kenneth! Tell Dad Hi!

Naomi, my family give our condolences and deepest sympathy. We will miss Uncle Kenneth and will be praying for you. When I saw you last in Memphis with my mother, Sue, to see Uncle Bobby in the hospital with Barry & Shelly it was a thrill to me to see you both and to see, first of all, how much Uncle Kenneth looked like my brother Danny. I felt I was looking at my brother when I walked into that room when we met. You and Kenneth were so gracious and loving to me and my daughter, Rachel. I am glad that I was able to have that visit with you and Uncle Kenneth. But I am sad that he had to go through this. Please give your family my love and that I will be praying for you all. Many blessings and love, Donna Neal Kennedy

We were saddened to learn of Ken's passing. We have nothing but good memories of times with Ken and Naomi in our "younger years" playing darts and hanging out together! Ken and Naomi always showed love and respect for each other with great humor and were role models to everyone who knew them. I always thought Ken was a great-looking guy with a twinkle in his eye and a contagious love of life. We will miss him very much. May God bless you. With much affection, Rich and Andree

Remember that your
loss is shared
by many friends who care
and that you're in our
thoughts and hearts
and in our every prayer
May you find the courage
to face tomorrow
in the love that surrounds
you today.
May the love of friends and family
be a source of comfort to you
at this time
At this time of sorrow
may these truths sustain you..
...your loved one will always be
as close as a memory
and the God of all comfort
is always as close as a prayer.
It will be the little things
that you will remember
the quiet moments, the smiles,
the laughter.
And although it may
seem hard right now,
it will be the memory
of these little things
that help to push away the pain
and bring the smiles back again

to Naomi and Ken's family,
One wonders how to express what a great loss means to a family that has not already been written in many forms in greeting cards. We want you to know our condolences come from our hearts and that we also shed tears over his loss and will truly miss Ken. He was a good, kind man loved by us and many others...."one of the good guys" We feel blessed to have known him and won't forget him.
We pray that God will bless and comfort you. We are unable to come to the memorial because we are traveling to Nebraska to a family member's funeral, but our hearts and prayers will be with you.
With deepest sympathy and love,
John and Eileen

We send our sincerest sympathies to Aunt Naomi and the whole family. Although I have not seen Uncle Ken in many years I have thought of him often and remember the last time I saw him when he and Aunt Naomi visited us in Alabama and he always made me laugh. He was full of laughter himself and it was very contagious. It's unfortunate that when family gets spread across the globe it's often difficult to visit one another regularly. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. We Love You!
