Obituary of Dale N. Geiger

Dale Nicholas Geiger Dale Nicholas Geiger went to be with God Tuesday morning, September 1, 2009 after his lifelong battle with his immune deficiency. His mom, Becky Geiger and his brother, Joe Geiger were by his side, holding each hand. Dale was born and raised in Olympia and attended Olympia High School. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and spending time with his many friends. Dale worked for Albertsons and Verizon Wireless. Thank you to both companies for supporting him – especially Verizon, who went out of their way to accommodate his medical needs. Dale was the most unselfish person and everyone that knew him, loved him. While at the SCCA and UW Medical Center, he signed up for every study possible in order to help those in the future. In memory of Dale, please give blood as often as you can. His life depended on it and others still do. A memorial and celebration of Dale’s life will be held at Funeral Alternatives at the Masonic Center on 455 North Street SE, Tumwater on his 23rd birthday, Tuesday, September 15th, from noon to 4 pm.
