Rick and Steve,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this great time of sadness. I always loved Wes. I have many fond memories of spending time with Wes and Marie at the house on Sunset Beach. He was such a kind and gentle soul, and ranks among the nicest people I have known.
Peace be with you.

My grandfather, George Gault, and Wes were friends. For some reason several times when we were both paying respects at the cemetery on Memorial Day I would run into Wes. We would share memories of grandpa and him from Chevron days. I have a memory as a child of visiting the Estes beach home with grandpa and the wonderful hospitality of the Estes family. Thank you.

We will miss you amongst us. It was a great joy seeing you walking our streets every day. Some of us used to say, "there goes 'greenie', as he nearly always wore a green jacket and cap. We first missed him when he moved next door to the Colonial Inn, and it was always a pleasure to see him when several of us would go for lunch in their dining room. Second, and last, we will miss him forever. He was one of the "Good Guys" God Speed, Wes.

I have lost a dear long time friend. We were fellow businessmen in Olympia as well as members of Rotary for many years. Our political objectives were the same and we worked on many local campaigns. I sure will miss having lunch with him at Rotary meetings. Helen and I extend our deepest sympathy to his family
