Oh how greatly I love and miss my dear grandmother. She was not only my grandmother but my dear friend. I know she is in a better place of no pain or sorrow and I am looking foreward to the day when I can be with her again, but until that day her love will burn inside of me. I will continue to strive to be all she would want me to be loving, kind, and compasionate. I pray that I can be the kind grandmother as she was to me. Pollyann

We just got your message today (Jan 18) about the memorial. If we were home, we would have been with you to love and comfort you in the loss of Phylis. We just hope she is truly in a 'better place', with Mike and even say hello to Don. I also remember the (one) baseball game I played with her and your team! She was amazing in that game, had more energy than me!
When I think of Phylis, I am reminded of Donny taking us to the movies and drivng off into the creek. But not to worry, she wasn't mad at him, but we sure got lots of miles out of that little mishap! ha
Lots of Love, Carole & Larry in Yuma, AZ.

Phylis was a delight to know. I had not seen her for a number of years but remember the fun we had when she was coaching us at softball. I remember one time when I subbed for the mixed league and we were short a person, Phylis also subbed. I don't know how old she was but she did good. Best wishes to all the family.

Phyllis shared her love and knowledge of softball with not only her players on her own team but with opponents as well. We all admired so much for her talents not only on the ball field but for her general zest for life. I played ball against and with Phyllis and she always taught me so much. Her love of sport was passed on to Jackie and through their spirit we all profited greatly. You are all in our thoughts and may all the great memories help you through this trying time.

Thoughts of Phylis always bring to mind the happy times we spent together through the years at picnics, birthday parties, and other fun events. She had a warm personality and was a good conversationalist, and I always looked forward to seeing her. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity this past summer to share a few more laughs with her. John and I send our sincerest condolences to her entire family.

My grandma, my mom, my friend, Phyllis Elaine Connelly
My grandma was my inspiration, she helped my dad raised me, Jennifer, Pollyanna, and Dustin. She was the most giving person I ever met . She always put family first and was the stronghold of the family, through growing up me and my grandma rubbed noses, God humbled us both in due time, she had a heart of candle wax, she loved all her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. You spoke of any of them her eyes got big, she had Christian faith like her own mom she said, she told me how she would pray for her kids, on her knees by her bed, she taught all her kids to be good Catholics,
She loved to sew and tried to make all her grandkids quilts. She loved playing Cribage, and any card game, but would usually out wit most people. Her memory will always lived on in my heart, my grandma, my mom, my mentor, my friend

Phylis was my dearest friend. She was intensely loyal and steadfast to both family and friends. She loved to share adventures and good times. Conversely, she was always there to help in any way she could when life's problems arose. I miss her very, very much and will never forget her.

Phylis bowled on our league of which I was the secretary. She bowled with us for many years on the Loggerettes league at Bowlero Bowl in Tacoma on Tuesday mornings. She was a great lady and will be missed by many.

Am sad to read abour your mom, she was a good friend and we had some great fun together, especially terrorizing the school board meetings. She was a special lady and know you are all proud of her. I had not seen her in several years and we lost touch, but never forgot her and always remember what a good friend we were when all you guys were growing up. Will think of all of you on Saturday when you gather to remember her.

Jackie and family, so sorry to hear about your mom. I didn't know she wasn't doing well, but I hope she went without pain and with peace. I miss seeing you and I hope you can make it to Wendy's party on 1/14. I will certainly understand if you can't make it, but we would all like to see you. Phylis was my dear friend. We had so many good times together. Let me share a poem that I found one day. I think it fits Phylis.
"Don't grieve for me, now I'm free, I am following the path God laid for me; I took His hand when I heard His call; I turned my back and I left it all;---Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free.
