With a tear in my eye, I join the memoirs here. I met Ken in the old ATT message boards some years ago.We had discused so much in life and his warmth and love were like a blanket of comfort to us all. I have never known a cross word to escape his lips. In times of stress he was a stabilizer. God blessed us all by sharing his son Ken with us. Thank you Father for this wonderful man.
Irene I am sorry to have called you today and found out through you on the phone. There is another circle of friends (the old ATT gang) that had been missing his e mails and such. The last we got was one saying it would be a while before he returned any of our e mails. My love and prayers are with you. My condolonce is that Ken is walking the streets of New Jerusalem. What a beautiful place we are promised.
When you have a moment that you are missing Ken, remember this: He is drinking the "Living Water" and will never thirst agaim. He is free of all pain, and is now in the Lord's loving arms. Save us a place Ken...
In the love of friendship,
George

every day that i open my email i would have about 5 to 10 pass on emails from Ken, and I thanked god that i got them. I never read them all, just the ones that looked like they would be funny, or personal, but I knew he was ok, when they stopped I was heart broken, cuz I knew he wasn’t doing well. i stopped checking my email after that. anyway my thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who loved him. He was a wonderful kindhearted person, and I’m glad I got to know him. I will forever miss you and your emails.

I didn't get to know Ken very long. I met him on the Boards and was immediately immpressed by Ken's Ethic's, Principles and Morals. Ken was a quiet and understanding man. He struck me as a man of strong character. We exchanged email about once a week just to see how each of of was doing; sometimes thoughts of support were passed. I'll miss communicating with Ken. I'll miss BigCamp's daily emails of jokes and quips; He always uplifted me. I wish I could have done the same for him.
I know Ken's family must miss him terribly and my Heart goes out to all of you. May a smile come to your faces everytime you think and talk about Ken; such a beautiful way to immortalize him.

Unfortunately, I didn't know BC, as we called him, all that well. I really wish I had. He was always a true gentleman, in every sense of the word. I don't think he ever said anything bad about anybody and I don't know of anybody that ever said a bad word about him. He was such a GOOD person & the world needs as many of those as we can get! But, alas, God wants the good ones with him, too, so we only have these shining stars with us for a short time. Rest well, Big Camp. Love, Jan, Hubby, The Girl & The Boy

My deepest sympathy to the family. My thoughts have been with you during this difficult time, and they will continue to be with your family.
I met Ken a few yrs back when we had a community at a place called "Community Zero". I was the administrator and in the process of moving to a new house. They were changing the site too, they were making the once free site a PAY site. Ken believed so strongly in our group from Iwon that he was one of the only ones willing (at that time) to pay to chat. I knew he was special then. By that I mean kind and caring.
When I first saw a picture of him, it was one with oxygen on. I realized then that I had something in common with Ken, because both of my parents needed oxygen too. My mother still does. When I was having difficult times with my mother, Ken posted supportive things for me to read, to help me through my difficult times. Which I can't thank him enough for. It meant so much.
I have to say that I think he was a strong person. He didn't give up on the world. He joined the world and the cyber age! He was one of a kind. The Malt Shop, the community he started, was a great place to go. Ken had good values in mind for the Malt Shop. No bad language and no talking badly about anyone. It was an upbeat supportive place to go! When he could no longer be Administrator, we all suffered a loss at the Malt Shop. It was like a piece of the puzzle was now missing. Irene,...I know that your life puzzle is now missing that same piece. Be strong,..which I know you are, not that I know you, but anyone who is the partner of such a good man, has to be good and strong as well.
Love and prayers, ~Jackie aka Poppinfresh/Jvcand

Daily Prayer 11/16/05 for Ken and Irene
Go forth, Christian soul, from this world:
in the name of God our Lover, who created you,
in the name of Jesus Christ, who lived through you,
in the name of the Holy Spirit, who was poured upon you.
May you dwell in peace this day;
may your home be the eternity of God,

with those who embrace the realm of peace
and with all the angels and saints. Amen.
