Obituary of Nicolas Edward Cammarano

Nicolas Edward Cammarano Nicolas Edward Cammarano passed away suddenly in Olympia on September 11, 2008. Nick was born in Olympia, March 14, 1961 to Nick & Kathy Cammarano. Nick attended local Olympia area schools and graduated from Tumwater High school in 1979. He also attended Automotive School in Arizona. When he finished in Arizona, he moved with his family to Lamoille, Nevada. Nick moved back to the Olympia area and returned to work at Cammarano Brothers in late 1980’s. It was on his route for the distributorship that he met his wife Brenda Baker in 1991. They were married in 1993 and took up residence in the Olympia area. Nick had a love of racing cars and vintage automobiles. He worked with his Uncle Dave Cammarano restoring and maintaining numerous antique racing machines that competed in the vintage auto races at Pacific Raceways and also in Monterey, California. Nick was a master of internal combustion, if it ran on fuel he could fix it. He was the mechanic for his entire network of extended family and friends. He and Brenda colleted numerous antique lamps and equipment Nick would restore to working order. They also collected Cammarano Bros. memorabilia. He also enjoyed boating and fine wines, cooking and BBQ. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Baker) Cammarano; sisters, Lisa (Cammarano) McCarty, Sheila (Cammarano) Winters, and Maria Cammarano; Nick also has numerous nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in passing. Nick and Brenda considered their pets members of their family and Crya, Quimby and Nelly will certainly miss him as well. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Masonic Center, 455 North St SE, Tumwater.
