You know he would come up to you and that smile and that walk that would say as if he were a bright eye'd 8 yr old. That energy would transend everything and you would feel you were right there with him. My favorite memory is of him working on my rig changing a ball joint. He just seemed to be in his element both in his skill level but most of all being able to help someone out with a skill that he could share. His sudden passing was a shock and a lost that we will feel for ever. Our hearts and prayers have been with you all. Amy and I send our love and friendship.

Considering all the years you beat up on me and drove me and my friends insane - it appears from everything here that you did grow out of it and into a fine man. You were always so special to Jennifer and meant alot to her and I can still remember the day you dubbed her "Spud". Brenda, if anything you ever need from me - just call.

My memory of Nicky (I'll alway remember him that way) is when he and I worked an all night auto rally, along with his dad Nick and I think his uncle Dave. We spent the night watching various sports cars go various wrong directions into and out of the checkpoint we were monitoring. It's a very good memory.

Nick was such a bright person. A small story that comes to my mind when I think of him. We were changing oil in the Mini and changing spark plugs. I obviously mixed up the spark plugs and the car would not start. We would turn and turn and turn but it would not start. Then he came and changed the two wires and the car started. He was so easy about it - not looking down at us, not mentoring, just smiling. And suddenly I felt good about the whole situation... he really gave positive energy.

I was shocked & so saddened to hear of Nick's passing. Wish I had known in time to pay respects at the memorial. He was definitely a favorite of Larry's & mine. He certainly knew how to live life & was so full of "good" energy. He was truly one of the special ones. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. My heart aches knowing the pain you feel. Sending you healing energy & prayers. 561-4346

I remember Nick from his grade school days. I drove Nick's school bus. One day on the way home from school Nick was eating an orange. Of course that was a no no, so I went back on the bus to collect the orange. I held my hand out and Nick reached out with the orange like he was giving it up. Just about the time I was thinking this is just too easy, Nick squeezed the orange in my hand. What could I do but laugh sticky hands and all. After all this was the way nick was. I knew Nick was destined to touch peoples lives! My condolences to his entire family.

Brenda, I want you to know that I am so very sorry for you're loss. I know the pain you feel and the emptiness that goes with it. Please know that you are in my daily prayers, and that my heart aches for you. My best advice to you is to cling tight to your family and friends and keep Nicks memory alive. Things will be hard for you but you are a woman of strength and I know that with the love and support you have you will be able to cope. Feel free to call me anytime, even if it's just to hear a freindly voice...360 789-1451.

One of my best memories is of spending time with Nick and Brenda each year in Monterey. Racing was always more fun with Nick around, but the Monterey Historics was always the most fun. Enjoying the cars, the people, the town, everything was so much fun with Nick. I'll miss him and always remember those times.

I am proud to call him a friend and I'm going to miss him alot. Things just won't be the same without him. My condolences to you Brenda and all of Nick's family and friends.

Brenda, I never had the chance to meet you. I worked for Black Hills Distributing for 12 years and ran into Nick in many accounts that we shared. Even though we were competitors in the marketplace, Nick always had a way smiling and making me feel at ease with him. I remember when his dad passed. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my twenty five year old son three years ago, so I can relate. Spend time with those who love you, Brenda. The days seem very long to you right now. You awake crying from deep sleep. Just cry when you need to. Tears never hurt anyone. Just try to remember that Nick would not want you to suffer over him. Remember that he loved you and for some reason unknown to us all, you are supposed to carry on.
Take care now..God love you!

Lou,
It all just seems so surreal. It can be possible that "one of us" is gone. The boating, the dancing on the docks at Longbranch, the party's at Gomer and Lucy's on pear street, the "short ones" and "having a moment" at Fuzzy and Me-Me's. We have been thru so much with you and Nickelodeon. We will hold on to those memories. Gomer and I Love you and will be there for you and friends forever. (This Sucks!)

Mama Branda, I have no words, only prayers, and all of the love a child can give. You have been my mother, walking me through this life since I was 21. I was always so anxious to her of the next "Nick project" or the next funny "Nick" story. You worked through so much together, and I learned from watching you bolth how to thrive in my own marriage. He always had the biggest smile I had ever seen, and brightened up the office when he walked in, and how your face would light up!! He will be missed, but never forget you have an angel now. Never forget that when you feel alone, he is there, holding you under his wings!!!
I love you mom!!!

Sharon let me know about your horrible loss. Just to let you know that my thoughts are with you and your family. I am in Yellowstone working this summer and won't be leaving till the end of October. Will not be able to attend the services, but will raise a glass of wine in honor of Nick. I feel as a comrade with Nick, having been one of the "riding mechanics" in David's Stutz at Leguna Seca.

I met Nick years ago when working at Safeway, then again meeting up and seeing him often when he checked the meters downtown. He would often give us a Courtesy tap on the window of the Tavern and point to his watch to let us know we were running out of time on the meter. Nicky always had a smile on his face. It has been a pleasure to have known him. Gods Speed Nick.

I was just starting to fully appreciate who was in life and all the wonderfull talent he had.
