Terry and I graduated from WSU in 1986 from the school of landscape architecture. In 2001, I organized a 15-year reunion of our small class at Wallowa, Oregon. There were a few classmates that we couldn't locate, including Terry. My Mom said she ran into Terry many years ago when he worked for the City of Lewiston, Idaho, but she didn't know where he moved to after he left that job. Last night, I visited with another of our classmates, and later I started thinking about the rest of our classmates. Today, I decided to do a Google search for those "missing" classmates, and I found this web site. I was saddened to read that Terry had passed away several years ago. Please accept my sincere condolences. Terry was a great guy, and he was always there to cheer us up in design studio when we were getting tired and stressed out. Hi Terry,
Vickie Lynn told me about this page, and since I get no answers when I ask "How could you possibly be gone?" thought I'd send you a note. We always had such good times together, whether building treehouses, digging to China in Gram's backyard, or playing on the beach. I remember big family picnics & spitting watermelon seeds at each other, sitting in your mom's basement with Led Zeplin on so loud we couldn't talk to each other, and how much you liked birds. I gotta tell ya, Cousin, you have the best hair ever. It suits your personality just right - wild, uncontrollably free and doing what it damn well chooses while not hurting another living soul, and not caring who approves or not. Those are great qualities, and thinking of them just now, I can hear you chuckle, us both surprised at bumping into each other in the unlikeliest of places as we both found our way in the world. Love you, miss you. Christie

Terry will be dearly missed by so many. His everlasting memories will help everyone through their sorrow with recollections of outdoor activities and his free spirit. It made me so happy to read about his swimming enjoyment with his grandchildren. I hadn't seen him in far to long and was so grateful that my husband and my two children got the opportunity to meet him and his immediate family at Autumn’s wedding. God bless!

Vickie, I am so sorry to hear about Terry. He was a funny, sweet, gentle man. He was a dear friend when we were younger and was the only Oly person to visit me when I moved to Kenniwick. When I moved back here he used to come over and play with my kids and bring them funny gifts. They all remember him with great fondness. Erika still has a clown figurine he gave her when she was 4 or 5.
He will be missed by many.

Vickie, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Terry. At your sale we found common bonds with our grandsons. The whole time Terry was in this community, he was a gentle caring neighbor and along with beautifing the home you had. He was going to purchase my grandmothers place and when a relative wanted it, he was the most gracious person about that. He will truly be missed. I am in the telephone book so please call, even if you need to just talk..or if we can help with anything. Bless you!

I haven’t seen Terry in years, really since I was a boy, but I still have fond memories. I remember being fascinated by this man that always seemed to be coming from some far off corner of the country or heading off to school again. He always smelled like wood and earth to me, his smile was warm and his hair was wild, his eyes seemed smart and happy. Most of all I remember, like most kids, I didn’t much like talking to adults, they were always telling you what not to do or they talked about stuff I couldn’t understand. But Terry was different. He didn’t talk down to me. He talked to me like a little man, and showed me cool bugs and plants and all kinds of neat things happening in my own backyard. Now I am the adult and I try to talk to my nephews the same way Terry would talk to me, with patience and inteligence, honesty and kindness. Thanks Terry.
