This was my dear mum for sure:
Your Mother is always with you. She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well. She’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow; she is Christmas morning!
Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you… not time, not space… not even death.

Julian of Norwich:
“suddenly, you will be taken away from your pain,
from all your sickness,
from all your depression,
from all of your fear,
and you will come up to me,
and our reunion will be your reward.
You will be filled with love and happiness,
there will be no more pain,
no more unhappiness, no more depression.
You will have joy and happiness without end.”

What a lady and an amazing example of positive spirit, courage, and love. The warmth and caring she created for us whenever we were in her home will always stay with me. Nina, you have been an example of love, support and courage yourself and I send you energy and love. I feel very blessed to have had both of you in my life!

Nina,
I remember the several times walking into your mom’s kitchen with you after high school choir practices. Your elegant mom always had time to hear how things were going. She is still alive in you! I see it in the way you care, your inquisitive mind and graciousness. I thank her for all her kindnesses to me.
Much love.

Everyone who knew our mom must have been impressed by her warmth, charm, and personality. She was a joy to have in our lives and we thank her family for sharing her with us. She made my dad very happy during the last few decades of his life by traveling with him, taking care of him, and bravely sharing the last moments of his life. We appreciated daily that her presence has added so much to our family. She is greatly missed and her presence will linger with us always. She was a lady and greatly loved.
