I just read Dennis obit. My name is Bill Harmon and we served in the Air Force together in Germany. We played basketball together and went on leave to Copenhagen Denmark, Amsterdam Holland. We were very close and he told me several years ago that his password on his computer was my nickname. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and wish I had kept in contact with him.

Dennis brought sunshine to our neighborhood. I was blessed to grow up with caring, loving neighbors and Dennis was one of the many. He will be missed with fond memories.

I would like to extend my condolences to you all. Dennis was a dear friend and I will miss him. I met Dennis in 1967 when we were young and full of the dickens. He then introduced me to my future husband Al. Through the years he remained a good and loyal friend to both of us. He was there for the good times, and when times were difficult, with love and support. He was truly a special guy. Nancy

Yelm State Champs? I was too little to remember that statistic but I do remember going to the Yelm games with my mom and dad, Barbara and Cliff Kinney when I was a little girl. Dennis was always the kindest person and so funny. I have many fond memories of all the Kinney family gatherings and cherish them all. It’s a great family to be part of and I will remember Dennis fondly.

While Dennis, Dennis Haddon and myself were not exactly like the three amigo’s, we did all start at Continental Can Company on the same day (Dec. 4, 1964) The three of us accumulated over 130 years of service in the can business. Not much contact with Dennis after I left Olympia but many fond memories of our younger years. God Bless and peace be with his family and close friends.

I sit here with tears in my eyes as I remember you and the great person we have lost, Grandpa Dennis. You were the happiest, friendliest, most easy going guy with a warm smile, a big hug, and a little joke always ready. Love you and miss you, hubba hubba
