I have such fond memories of Traci and our days at Griffin. She knew how to have fun, how to be a good friend and how to make everyone feel welcome. My hearts go out to all of you for your loss. May the good memories fill your family’s hearts with love and joy.

Sharleen, Marty, Vikki, Sherri, Terri and Dale – I was so sorry to hear the news of Traci’s passing. In our 25 year history, I knew Traci as a fun-loving, funny woman with a heart of gold. If she had only the shirt on her back and if someone needed it or asked for it, she would give it with a laugh and toss of her head. Throughout her struggles, she maintained her sense of humor, her kind sensibility and her thoughtfulness. Yes, indeed, she was a lovable diamond in the rough. I’ll miss her smile, her generous heart and her lovely holiday wreaths.

What a shock to see Traci’s name, we’ve run into each other a few times over the years, but my fondest memories of Traci are the “Griffin” days, her bobby socks and skirts (when she only wanted to be wearing pants and run around, out of breath, high energy loving life. My condolences and prayers for you Charlene, Sherri, Terri and the rest of the family.

I remember Traci’s smile, laughter and fun in school, she sat behind me in eighth grade English with Larry Smith, teacher. Sometimes Traci was a little too much fun for being in class, I recall, but I enjoyed her. I still wear a pencil lead tip in my left side from when she was trying to get my attention. For Traci’s sisters, mother, son, nieces and nephews, please know that we share in your loss and are reminded to treat each day with one another as if it could be our last. We never know. Traci is without pain, the pain is left only to us now. Bless Traci’s spirit as she passes beyond this mortal life.

I am so saddened by this news. Traci was my first “best friend” when my family moved to Olympia in 1966. Though we lost touch after grade school, I have never forgotten her tenacity at life being fully lived and have fond memories of riding horses behind the house the King family lived in. My heart goes out to those who have been left behind by such a vibrant being who galloped freely on this earth and touched so many lives.

Traci was the most giving and the most forgiving person that I have known. Her Dad used to say, “If you were broke and Traci had $5.00 bucks in her pocket, she’d give you $4.00”
Traci loved people, friends, family and animals.
She will be missed.

Sharleen, I am heartbroken to hear that you lost your baby girl. As a mom, I can’t imagine a more painful loss. Vikki, Terri, & Sherri, I’m sorry you lost your little sister. I know that when we face this kind of loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is out of pain & no longer struggles with life’s challenges, but that doesn’t extinguish the unbearable grief. I pray that the entire family can find that this is a time of mututal support and that the love of friends will help lessen your sorrow. Each one of you had a unique relationship with her & sharing the memories helps. My love and prayers to all of you.

To the King Family – I’m so shocked and sadden by the passing of Traci. We grew up together and lived next door to each other. I remember the good times, the laughing, and her smile. May God give you all strength during this time of sorrow, but know that she will always be in your hearts. My prayers are with you all. God Bless.

Aunt Traci,
We love you and will miss you dearly. The holidays won’t be the same without your smiling face and beautiful wreaths! Say “Hello” and give our love to Grandpa Jim and Grandma Lois; and save a spot for us in the clouds.
Always,
Jarred & Jen

Love came naturally to Traci. She was one of those unique individuals that was quick with a smile and genuinely cared for all those around her. Those lucky enough to have spent any time with Traci will know that you won’t soon forget her sense of humor nor her boundless compassion for others.
She was an amazing person that defined selflessness. I count myself lucky to have had such an amazing aunt and friend. She enriched my life in too many ways to count. I will dearly miss your love, humor and limitless energy. The world is a lesser place without you here.
Remember to smile. Smile and Love. Traci would have it no other way.
Love always,
Derek
