LLoyd was a man of many accomplishments. He was a seasoned yachtsman, fisherman, golfer and the author of two books.
Lloyd loved to travel, meet people and form new friendships. Perhaps one of most significant achievements was that he formed "Lasting" friendships. Even though I no longer lived in Washinton State, Lloyed remained a loyal friend who would call to chat and check on my well-being; I will truly miss him.
While still living in Olympia, my late husband Bill, Lloyd, Judy and I took several road trips together. Some of these excursions included driving to California to stay with my parents, as well as, visiting my brother and sister-in-law in the wine country. We had such great times, stopping along the way to see the sites. I will never forget those experiences.
So, now it is time to say farewell. Your memory will live on, as it should with "Good Friends".

You’re going to be so missed Grandpa, but I know you’re in peace and no longer in pain, and that gives me comfort. You’ve always been there for me, no matter what. Your help may have come with a lecture, but I know now as an adult that those lectures came from your experiences, and you wanting more for us than you had. I’m very grateful for the Grandpa I had in you, and we’ll be sure to keep care of Grandma! We love you! - McKenzie

I will miss your grandpa!! I will forever miss our debates and conversations we always had even though some of them got a little heated because you always had to win haha. But I will miss you. Please Rest In Peace and sail the skys now. Keep a watch over us all and keep us all on our path and limit some of the life lessons if you can though. It was good seeing you one last time and having a few more debates before you left me, even though I killed the dinosaurs because of a catalytic converter you never backed down and had to win and gave us all a laugh. I love you grandpa, enjoy your last trip and Rest In Peace.
