Obituary of Wendolynn Bird

Born in Shelton, Washington, Wendy lived most of her life in the Thurston County area. She graduated from Olympia High School in 1976, and went on to work 40 years for the Washington State Employees Credit Union. Wendy was kind and gentle, brave and strong. She was quick to give a hand to anyone that needed help, and shared a warm smile with everyone she encountered. Family and friends looked forward to her positive Facebook posts that reminded them to enjoy their Friday, dress warm for the cold, or give a cheer to the Seahawks. Wendy enjoyed her animals and loved spending time in the outdoors. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Wendy is survived by her life-partner, Dave Leaming; mother, Dona; brothers, Steven (Marty) and Rick (Terrie); brother-in-law, Raymond Leaming (Pam); three nieces, one nephew, two grandnephews and a grandniece.
