Obituary of Ursula Yust

Ursula A. Yust, 61, a resident of Vancouver, Washington since 1991, died Friday, November 25, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Olympia, Washington. She was born on D-Day, June 6, 1944, in Bad Kreuznach, Germany to Anna Tichy and Wilhelm Antweiler. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 19, and resided in New York. There she met her husband, Bill, and they eventually moved to Poughkeepsie, New York; Sacramento, California; Naples, Italy; Kaiserslautern, Germany; San Diego, California; and finally to Vancouver, Washington. Ursula’s love was travel. She and her husband, Bill, traveled throughout the United States and Europe. After her retirement from a life-long career in dental assisting, Ursula continued to travel, visiting every continent except Australia. Ursula was also a fabulous, self-taught artist. Many of her friends and relatives have been grateful recipients of her beautiful watercolor paintings. Ursula is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Yust, and her mother, Anna Tichy. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Flinton, and her grandson, Jimmy Flinton, of Olympia, Washington. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, Washington.
