Obituary of Charles Yelle

Vic Yelle Charles Victor (Vic) Yelle, 74, was born November 10, 1936, in Olympia, WA, and died December 17, 2010, at his home in Lacey, WA. He graduated from Olympia High School, and attended Central Community College and WSU. Vic served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1961, and was stationed in Germany. He retired from the Olympia Brewery in 1986. After retirement, he had various jobs, including working sessions for the legislature. Vic was an avid sports fan, a member of Gyro International, and enjoyed travel to Maui and visiting his daughter in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed Mariners’ spring training in Peoria, AZ. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; daughters Sandy (Bob) Wibbels and Heidi Lovaas; grandchildren Izaac, Morgan and Stephen; sister Helen Pilkey of Tacoma, sister and brother-in-law Don and Grace Hochhaus of Grapeview; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Alice Yelle; and sisters, Irene Taylor and Hyla Crocker. In memory of Vic, donations may be made to your local food bank.
