Obituary of Joy Dee Wright

No visitation Joy Dee Wright, 61, a life long resident of Olympia, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at her home. Joy was born June 22, 1945 in Olympia to Norrie and Heddy (Jones) Andrews. She was a 1963 graduate of North Thurston High School. In 1974 she married Sam Wright. They were divorced in 1988. Joy had been employed by Sears from 1980 to 1995. After traveling for a time, she worked for Garden Courte from 2002 until the present. Survivors include two sons, Sam Wright, Jr. and Greg (Barbie) Wright, both of Olympia; one grandson, Garryn Wright (the love of her life); also her life-long partner of seventeen years, Kathy McConnell.
