Obituary of Phyllis Wilson

No visitation Phyllis (Terwillegar) Wilson Phyllis (Terwilleger) Wilson, loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2006 in Olympia, Washington. She was born in Selma, California on October 10th 1944. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Terwilleger; second husband, William Wilson; mother, Deana Reed; father, Ed Reed; and grandfather, Joel Burrow. Phyllis grew up in Selma as an only child and lived next door to her cousin, Betty Bell, until the age of 10. Her family then moved to Seal Beach, California where she met her first husband. They moved their family to Washington in the mid 1960’s near Poulsbo only to return back to their old home in California because one of their children got sick. A few years later her family returned to Olympia, Washington to live near her sister-in-law, Susan; niece, Shelly; nephew, Randy. Phyllis then remarried in 1980 to William Wilson, the love of her life. Phyllis moved with William to a home on Hicks Lake in Lacey, Washington. She loved to work in her yard showing a great deal of pride and loved putting flowers on the deck every spring, hosting many memorable times at this lake front home including opening fishing day every year for her four boys, family and friends. Phyllis was a giver in everyway. She had so many good stories, loved to cook, interior decorate, build, and travel. Phyllis always had open doors to her most precious sweet loving heart. She loved her four sons, relatives and friends with unconditional love and will be missed. Phyllis is survived by her four sons, Mark, Paul, Kevin, and Brian; twelve grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a sister-in-law. Her family would like to give special thanks to all the families and friends for their love, selfless giving, unconditional help and support.
