My deepest sympathy to all of you over the loss of your mother. My family and I will always treasure the many dear memories of Mag and our family get-togethers. One of these memories that Mag herself never forgot was when we lived next door on Karen Avenue and I was very young. I would come over quite often and plant myself under the cookie jar waiting for a cookie!
Mag was such a warm and thoughtful person who truly valued her family and friends, and always made them feel very special. We will surely miss her. God Bless!!

Dear Wilkins Family. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was one of the most wonderful ladies I have known. She was one of my mother' (Mary Crowe) best friends and I know that the time she and mom and Irene Bonsall spent together, will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She will be missed. Everyone who met her, truly met a real queen and wonderful lady. Mary

Dear Debi and family.
Thank you for your e-mail. I was very saddened to hear about your mother's passing. I notified my parents when I heard the news, and they have asked me to send their condolences to all of you.
It's always sad to lose a close and beloved family member. But I take comfort in the fact that she, just like her Norwegian relatives (my grandmother being her cousin) has had a strong health and lived a long, happy and very rich life. I think enjoying the company of a large family runs deep in the genetics we share, even across the Atlantic.
Just this past saturday I went through some old papers as I was
cleaning out my drawers, and I found a business card from that
restaurant your mother took me to for lunch the first time I was visiting - 'Genoa's on the Bay'. It made me think of her that time,
and I believe she always liked going to that place. This is just one
of several fond memories I have of her.
I am very glad I have had the opportunity to come visit her and the rest of you on a few occasions: Living halfway across the planet from you I never took that for granted. I have truly enjoyed taking part in your wonderful family traditions both during holidays (Thanksgiving) as well as your friday pizza nights. Perhaps we will see some of you over here eventually. I would certainly enjoy it, and please know that you are all more than welcome to come visit and stay with us all. I can remember your mother telling me how her older sister wanted your parents to visit Norway, even though she eventually passed away during their trip. This is the time I can remember them coming over, at the ripe age of 4 or so. My parents will probably remember it better than me. I hope everything goes as planned in regard to the memorial service you're having this coming friday. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and we will remember Margaret with great joy. Please send my best on behalf of myself and our branch of the family tree to everyone there.

I am so thankful that I got to visit her last month. We took a stroll down memory lane and ate sandwiches together. I tried to get the secret receipe for her "Auntie Mag" tuna fish sandwiches. She told me there was nothing special about her sandwiches, but I know in my heart the real secret was the love she put into them that made them so special. She was more than just an aunt to me. She gave me memories of my mom so that I could know my mom, once she told me "she'd lost her very best friend when mom passed" Knowing she was in my world helped me thru some hard times back then. She was always so caring and the joy in her face when you stepped into the room made you know you were more than welcomed. I love you Auntie Mag, may your new journey be a peaceful one. Tell all that we love, we miss them.
Love Pam

Aunt Mag loved family. You could tell that the instant you walked into her home from the wall to wall pictures of her children, grandchildren, neices and nephews and their children, and so on....You could tell by the way she always spoke of her children and especially her grandchildren...always so proud of them. What makes me love her so much was because she was so good to my Mom and her family during their Mother's passing and their Fathers. She was an important person in Mom's life and Mom loved her very much. Thank you for that Aunt Mag. I love you and miss you and will always remember how happy you looked holding my babies.

As I sit here making chocolate chip cookies for grandma's gathering tomorrow, it brings memories. Grandma's cookie jar was ALWAYS filled..with homemade cookies. Always chocolate chip.. sometimes oatmeal, an occasional peanut butter. I wonder how many batches of cookies she made over the years? Friends and Family always coming by to visit, having one, two.. maybe 5 cookies at at time you'd think it the jar would be empty daily. Jacob know's Great Grandma's house and asked the other day when we were there if Great Grandma grew wings to fly up with the angels. We will miss Grandma tremendously!!

We will always remember Mag as a sweet and caring person, and a formidable opponent and team player when it came to playing Pinochle. It was a privilege to play cards with Mag and we were honored with the opportunity to get to know her gracious and generous spirit.
Our sincere sympathy goes out to the entire Wilkins family.

Margaret was my Grandmother's sister. I guess that makes her my Great Aunt. Her passing marks the end of an era. I have nothing but fond memories of our trips to the "Coast" from the Tri-Cities. To me it was a Norman Rockwell experience. I feel very fortunate to been a small part of Margaret's icredible family. I'll not forget those times and we'll not forget what a wonderful person she was.
