Oh Burt! Where do I start, where do I stop? You'll let me know! You and that Ford truck, Yee Haw! I smile everytime I think of you, your attention to detail was unquestionable. We didn't dare patch up that "boo boo", we would do it over and do it right. Every project taken on was not complete until "Burt's Approval Stamp" was applied. We could not and would not brag about a building feat until you OK'd it! LOL You had the final word and you lived your life with the same rules and committment. Thank you Burt for being you.

Sorry to hear about Burton. I got to know Burton when we visited your family in Rhode Island. We had a wonderful time there. I know he will be missed dearly. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Burton was a very likable man. Always there to help a friend in need. I spent alot time with the family when the girls were still living at home. We had many good times and laughter. Burton will be missed, but not forgotten.

I was blessed to have a dad that was a hard worker and cared for people the way he did. Always willing to help a friend or family member. I am so thankful he was a part of my life as well as my family's life. I will miss you and always love you!

What comes to mind is how humble he was. I respected my father for his hard working ethic and concern for others. How I wish his 'green thumb' had rubbed off on me! But he influenced me in many other ways. With that, I thank you and love you!

Thank you Burt for teaching me confidence in my abilities. I learned to not be afraid to try things for my first time from Burt. I couldn't cut a straight board before I met Burt. Most of all want to thank you for the many stories you shared with me at the kitchen table and raising a lovely daughter.

I will always remember the way my Papa taught me to appreciate life and the little things, like to "eat my groceries". He was a great role model and taught me the importance of working hard to achieve excellence. Your caring spirit will live in my heart forever. I love you Papa.
