From my earliest memories of Ed, it was apparent he had a love of life, family and the great outdoors. I remember his laugh as he loved to be mischievious and pull pranks on people, like making a large wake on the bay and then passing back acrossed it for the pure joy of other's reactions. It is unfortunate that he had an untimely death and he will be remembered. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

Even though we lost contact over the years, there will always be a smile (or chuckle) when your name comes up. Thank you for some beautiful memories.

Ed was a one of a kind man who would give a friend the shirt off his back. He was the original outdoorsman who was more at home in the woods or along a stream than he was in a crowd of people. He was always gentle and kind to me and I enjoyed knowing him as a fellow South Bay Elementary student and later as adolescents struggling with fitting in. My thoughts are with you.
