Obituary of Ardis M. Weisdepp

Ardis M. Weisdepp Ardis Weisdepp passed away peacefully on May 15, 2011, in Olympia, at the age of 89. She was born in 1922 in Bridgewater, South Dakota. After graduation from high school in Canton, S.D., she moved with the rest of her family to the Olympia area. In 1950, she married William Weisdepp with whom she raised five children. She was a devoted wife and homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bill, and three brothers. She is survived by her sister, Eileen Marros, brother Wayne Engel, both of Olympia, along with her children, Paul (Deborah) of Port Orchard, Fred (Connie) of Olympia, Evan (Lynn) of Stanwood, Mary (Dennis) Clayville of Olympia and Angela (Dan) Klein of San Mateo, CA, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church at 12:00 noon on June 17, 2011. Rather than floral displays, the family asks that donations be made to St. Michael Parish Altar Society, a group she enjoyed membership in for many years.
