Obituary of Dorothy H. Weir

No visitation Dorothy H. Weir Dorothy H. Weir, 94, of Lacey, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007. She was born April 1, 1913 in Seattle to Albert and Anna (Hagman) Smith. In 1978 Dorothy retired from the Department of Agriculture. She resided in Tumwater from 1965 to 2003 before moving to Lacey. She enjoyed painting Mt. Rainier and was a volunteer at the Artist Co-Op until she was 86 years old. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Olympia. Dorothy is survived by her son, Skip Weir (Judi);Two grandchildren, Todd Weir (Kelly) and Tiffany Malone (Rudy); Five great grandchildren, Missy, Brandon, Casey, Jesse and Sara; One great-great granddaughter, Lilly; Two nephews and Three nieces. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007 at First United Methodist Church of Olympia, 1224 Legion Way S.E.
