Obituary of SuEllen Walker

NA SuEllen Walker Su Walker, 56, lost her long battle with cancer on January 25 in Olympia, Washington with her daughters at her side. Su was born in Walla Walla, Washington to E. Jack Paul and Pauline Wright Paul on March 11, 1955. She attended school in Walla Walla through to high school before moving to the Tri-Cities and then to Oak Harbor. Su was a 24 year resident of Oak Harbor. As a young woman she trained and jockeyed race horses on tracks around the state. She also raised and showed German Shepherds and had a passion for collecting gems and minerals. Our mother was generous, loving, strong spirited and had a keen sense of humor. She will be deeply missed. She is preceeded in death by her father, Jack Paul, of College Place, Wa.; her mother, Pauline Paul, of Walla Walla, Wa; her sister, Karen Raymond, of Hermiston, Or; and her sister, Laurie Vasknetz, of Tumwater, Wa. She is survived by her brother Steve Paul of Walla Walla, Wa; sister Elizabeth Campanelli of Richland Wa; daughter, Jessica (Yates) Yonce, of Franklin NC; daughter, Robin Yates, of Olympia, Wa; daughter, Rheanna Walker, of Oak Harbor, Wa; by many nieces and nephews and four granddaughters and one grandson.
