Obituary of Gordon Wayne Wahlstrom

Gordon Wayne Wahlstrom, 61 of Olympia, son of Sig and Elsie May Wahlstrom, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Providence St. Peter Hospital. He worked for the Spokesman Review in Spokane, the Daily World in Aberdeen, the Ballard News Tribune in Ballard, and Spiritborne Productions, Inc. Gordon’s interests involved videography, photography, and music. His church affiliations were with the Community Church of Issaquah and the Mountain View Church of the Nazarene, Tumwater. He is survived by his mother, Elsie May (Chase) Wahlstrom, one brother; Les Wahlstrom; two sisters, Betty Dooley and Barbara Burch; four nieces, Kari, Amy, Lyndsey, Kristin, and four nephews, Erik, David, Kevin, and Joel. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the Mountain View Church of the Nazarene, 940 Israel Rd. SW, Tumwater. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle.
